You enter this world as an innocent being. You explore your surroundings examining everything. You wander about the world and begin to interact with it. But little do you know that your fate has been pre-determined by the heavenly bodies. Yes, your moment of birth set your life in motion according to a specific pattern of tendencies and inevitabilities, or so astrology claims. Either you believe it or not, it wouldn't hurt to check them at least, right?
Free Kundli Software
In case you were expecting an analysis of how well Astro-Vision LifeSign Mini interprets birth data within the Vedic parameters, then you’ll be rather disappointed. My understanding of Hindu Astrology is as thorough as any elephant’s knowledge about 16th century Italian painters. That being said, if elephants can paint then I at least have a chance to understand what this piece of software is supposed to do.
The shareware version can do a couple of things. It can generate a detailed horoscope using your time and place of birth. It can also generate a short compatibility report. Useful if you’re looking for astral confirmation for your romantic relationship.
In order to generate an astrology report you must enter detailed data about the date and time of birth. That’s down to the second. This has me confused. Is it when the baby’s head comes up, or is it when it’s fully out? Is it somewhere in between? I mean if seconds are taken into consideration then that’s pretty important methinks. The required accuracy for the place of birth is also very high. Setting New Delhi is probably not enough, because whether you were born west or east of the Yamuna River is apparently quite important. Anyway, after you enter the data you get two options, either you generate a print ready horoscope or you compare your birth data with data from a person of a different sex. Same sex comparisons are not included because same sex relationships trump the Yogas and make such a report utterly irrelevant.
The astrology report is quite exhaustive. Not every chapter is covered but it will give you enough information to keep you occupied for a while. Unfortunately, the text cannot be simply copied from the report nor the report can be printed for free. That is a paid service. But you could doing screenshots and extract the text using some optical recognition software I guess… A good thing is that you can save person profiles and load birth data instantly on subsequent requests.

- Multiple Horoscope styles – Kerala, South and North Indian, Bengali and Sri Lankan

The main bonus of the free Astro-Vision LifeSign Mini is that it allows you to save birth profiles and that is great when the horoscope itself cannot be saved.

Astro-Vision LifeSign Mini may be a free Kundli software but you still need to go premium if you’re serious about it. Because this can be a valuable tool for someone who specializes in Hindu Astrology.
